Bachelor's Program
Tracks:
Studies toward the bachelor's degree in the Department of Literature of the Jewish People are offered in three tracks:
- Single-major track (100 credits) – allows for in-depth and extensive specialization in Jewish literature, without an additional subject.
- Dual major track (54 credits) – intended for students who wish to study two major subjects.
- Structured dual-major track (50 credits) – based on cooperation and affinity between the Department of Literature of the Jewish People and other departments. The adjacent departments are: Bible, Talmud, Jewish History and Contemporary Jewry, Hebrew Language, Jewish Art, Comparative Literature, French, Arabic, Classical Studies, and a Multidisciplinary B.A. in the Humanities.
Requirements for the single-major track – 100 credits

Introductions (Required Courses) - 16 credits
Elective Courses - 52 credits
3 Seminars - 12 credits
Supplementary studies from other departments (Jewish Art, Jewish or General Philosophy, Hebrew Language, Jewish History, Comparative Literature) - 20 credits
Requirements for the dual-major track – unstructured – 54 credits
This track allows for internships in the Department of Literature of the Jewish People without any affiliation with other departments. The track is intended for students who are interested in studying two main subjects.

Elective Courses - 30 credits
2 Seminars - 8 credits
Requirements for the dual-major track – 50 credits
This track is based on a connection between two close departments and mutual recognition of the courses. The following is a list of the departments in which you can study a structured double major in conjunction with the Department of Literature of the Jewish People: Bible, Talmud, Jewish History, Language, Jewish Art, Land of Israel Studies and Archaeology, Comparative Literature, French, Classical Studies, B.A. Multidisciplinary in the humanities.

Admission Requirements for New Applicants and Veteran Students
A matriculation certificate and a psychometric test*.
* Candidates with a matriculation average of 90 or higher are exempt from the psychometric entrance exam.
