Modern Hebrew Literature

This track prepares students for researching the poetics, aesthetics and historiography of Hebrew literature written in Israel and the Diaspora. The track also prepares them for researching poetics in general in the context of modern and post-modern Hebrew literature (aesthetic and poetic schools, genres, social and political philosophies). Fields of specialization include new currents in contemporary critical discourse, modern and post-modern literary theory, and interdisciplinary textual analysis.
